Prepaid Phone
For those cell phone users who have very good contract based postpaid plans that have been grandfathered to them from several years ago, then prepaid cell phones might not be the best option for you since you already may have a very attractive cell phone plan.

But if you are like millions of people out there who are looking for a new wireless plan that will save them money every single month, then prepaid cell phone plans may be a very good option. The simple reason is that there are many really attractive plans out there.

Moderate cell phone users have always been able to save with prepaid phones since they use few minutes and rarely send text messages or use their phones for anything other than basic communication. The moderate user does not purchase smartphones or excess bundle packages they do not need.

This article is focused on the heavy cellular phone user who is in the market for a cell phone plan. If you are in the market, then a prepaid phone could be the best option for you--even though you use your phone a lot. Even if you use a lot of talk time and a lot of text messages and surf the internet quite often, you may be able to save a good amount of money with the prepaid cell phone plans available right now.

If you haven't heard of the unlimited prepaid plans that are out in the wireless marketplace, then consider this your introduction to savings. Many of the prepaid providers have released unlimited plans that give users unlimited use of talk time and text messages, while providing good amounts of data usage.

One of the companies with great plans is TracFone. The recent release of the Straight Talk brand of phone plans is a great option for consumers to look at as it offers some of the most affordable phone plans out there for heavy cell phone users. The Unlimited Straight Talk plan costs $45 and comes with unlimited talk time and unlimited text messaging capability. Subscribers also get 30 MB of data, which should be enough for most users, although some may want more.

For slightly more moderate phone users, there is the $30 Straight Talk TracFone plans which is comprised of 1,000 minutes and 1,000 text messages. Both of these plans are rivaled by the Boost Mobile Unlimited Monthly plan, which costs $50 and has garnered quite a bit of interest since it was released earlier this year.

Other brand like MetroPCS and Cricket are on the prepaid price war band wagon and have attractive plans available. If you are a heavy mobile user, you can indeed find a good prepaid phone plan to cover your needs. You don't need to sign a contract if you don't want to.

Read detailed prepaid phone reviews. Also, read some more about the benefits of Straight Talk plans.

Cons of Prepaid Legal business opportunity
In my judgment, prepaid legal business opportunity is a good one only if you know how to sell. Greater part of the Network Marketers are not making money for this particular reason. Find out the nitty gritty on prepaid cell phones and 911 service. Find out what prepaid cell phone companies are required to do and why.

Everybody is familiar with 9-1-1 service, which allows you to easily contact emergency services from your home phone. But what about your cell? Emergencies can happen when you're away from home. And even while you're at home, more households are moving towards a single-line solution, replacing their landline phones with mobile.

The FCC requires all cellular carriers to put through all 9-1-1 calls, even when the phone does not have an active service contract. Individuals who have medical conditions may do well to carry an emergency cell phone, even if they do not use a cell phone on a regular basis. It is also an ideal solution for the elderly, who may be at risk while out and about. Keeping an emergency cell phone in the car's glove compartment, along with a portable charger, can help avert a disaster in case of a breakdown or accident in a remote area.

The so-called E911 (enhanced 911) service, mandated by the FCC, also requires carriers to implement a system that tells emergency dispatchers the location of the caller. This has been a part of landline emergency services for several years, and when you call 9-1-1 from your home phone, the dispatcher automatically knows your callback number and your fixed location. But on a mobile phone, there are some technological challenges. Fortunately, the cell phone companies stepped up to the plate and came up with a solution. In Phase I of the FCC mandate, carriers had to create a system that would tell dispatchers the cell phone number of the caller, as well as the location of the cell tower, which would provide at least an approximate geographic location. More sophisticated location detection technology uses GPS-enabled cell phones to determine the location of the caller in an emergency.

Phase II, scheduled to be fully implemented by the end of 2005, goes a step further by providing Automatic Location Identification (ALI), with precise latitude and longitude of the caller, to the emergency dispatcher. This capability has been incorporated into many newer cell phones, but there are still older cell phones still in use. If you plan to use your cell phone as an emergency backup, make sure you have a newer "location-sensitive" phone that is equipped to handle this service.

There is no charge for calling 9-1-1 from a cell phone; the E911 infrastructure is paid for with a small surcharge on normal cell phone services.

The Tracfone W376 is a new pay as you go phone from Tracfone and it is BlueTooth 2.0 enabled. The W376 is a good working GSM phone. If you have good coverage in your area by AT&t then Tracfone will be offering this phone in your area.

This new phone is the little brother to the best selling Motorola Razr. The new W376g is thicker but not as wide. The keyboard is the same flat design as the Razr. Both the Tracfone W376 and the Razr have the distinctive Motorola Chin.

The Moto W376g is a Single Rate Tracfone

All the calls you make in your local area or out are one unit per minute. You will only pay one unit per minute for local, long distance and roaming calls. Most Prepaid phones do not offer roaming.

International Tracfone Calls

Calling to over sixty international areas will cost you one unit per minute with the Tracfone W376g. That is right the International calling rate is the same as calling your neighbor. Check out Tracfone International Calling at the Tracfone.com web site.

Moto W376 Text Messages

The new W376g texting charges are .3 units per text in and out. This is a lot better than the .5 units per text on some of the older Tracfones.

DMFL is standard on W376g

The new bonus program from Tracfone is the Unlimited Double minutes for life. DMFL cards are available from the Tracfone web site for $50. This DMFL Bonus plan comes standard with your Moto W376g. You will never have to buy a DMFL card for this phone even if you let your service expire when you reactivate you will still have DMFL.

Battery life on the Tracfone W376g

The W376g uses the BQ50 Lithium Ion battery. There can be issues with your battery if you talk a lot or use your bluetooth headset a lot. Here is a unique Cure for a Motorola W376 Weak Battery

Tracfone Bluetooth

The first Bluetooth enabled phone from Tracfone is the Motorola W376. You will now be able to use a Bluetooth 2.0 headset with your Tracfone Motorola W376g. It is safer to drive totally hands free which you can do with the new phone. You will not be able to use your Bluetooth to access your computer to download pictures, ringtones, or your contact list. It appears Tracfone has disabled the most useful part of Bluetooth.

Web Access and Downloading Ring Tones

The web access allowed by Tracfone with their phones is pretty limited, you can go to the Tracfone website and download ringtones and access a little bit of news. It is not a big thing, and Tracfone does not allow you access to the rest of the web.

Moto W376 Feel

I really like the heft and feel of the new Moto W376g. The W376 is the same size and feel as the W370 and the W375. Large enough when unfolded it comfortably fits your face to talk (even if you have a large head). It folds nice and small so it easily fits into your pocket or purse.

Moto W376 Features and Specs

The birth of the Internet was the start of an innovation era, for mankind. The Internet has expanded its roots into almost every industry around the globe. Companies such as Vehix are using the Internet to change the automotive industry. Amazon has changed the retail industry, and companies such as Skype, Vonage, and Pingo have revolutionize the use of the Internet for voice communication using VoIP International prepaid phone calling cards for very low costs.

VoIP is an Internet based technology that has revolutionized the phone industry. VoIP allows service providers to direct voice packets over the Internet. In other words, VoIP lets users to make their phone calls over the Internet. While transmitting voice over networks is not something especially new, the way that VoIP manages it definitely is. One of the issues that Internet callers had to deal with before VoIP International prepaid phone cards were improved was loss of quality and long delays. Internet callers had to wait for a minute or two to allow the voice packets from the other side to be fully received by their terminal before speaking back. That made Internet calling quite inconvenient. The quality of calls wasnt that great either, and you needed to use your computer to make and receive the calls. Moreover, it was a little pricy to make an Internet call, and that made it unattractive to callers. The deployment of VoIP International prepaid phone calling cards through new technologies that companies such as Pingo have developed changed all that. Now customers are able to make quality calls using their regular land or mobile phones, depending on Pingo to provide the backend integration of VoIP to provide low priced quality connections. VoIPe technology is also available on computers, using software such as Skype. However, given the low costs of using a prepaid calling service like Pingo, most people find that the small cost that is charged for origination and termination of the calls on regular phone systems are worth the price for the convenience. These rates are usually even better than the large broadband VoIP carriers charge, without even requiring installation of expensive equipment to their broadband modems.

Clearly, VoIP technology has proven itself as an inexpensive way to make quality long distance calls. There are choices that can be made between online software such as Skype, installed VoIP systems such as Vonage, or VoIP International calling card services that use regular phones such as Pingo. For my money id pick Pingo prepaid calling services that can be used from any phone home mobile or while traveling would be the way to go!

Looking for the appropriate prepaid phone card is relatively easy these times. With the information highway at your fingertips, you can now remove the hassle out of shopping for one. It is possible to find a cheap calling card at the local store.

Be sure to do some investigating and price comparison first, before making a purchase. As retailers know, many people prefer convenience before quality. For this reason many companies charge more than the suggested retail price. If consumers decide to purchase a card online, they just might find what they want for a price many retail stores cannot compete with.

Card resellers who choose to do their business online know that your local store may no longer be the convenient way to purchase phone cards. Consumers can now simply search for a keyword or two in their search engine and come up with a good-quality phone card that can be purchased instantly from the comforts of home.

Tips In Choosing The Right Phone Card

Before purchasing a prepaid card, users must consider how they'll be using it. Choose a card that will offer you the best value for the kinds of calls you plan to make. At pay phones, use the cards for long distance calls. Prepaid phone cards are one of the best ways to make long distance calls at pay phones that do not accept coins.

If users are going to use the card to call family, friends or associates in another country, select a card offering low per-minute rates to that country. Prepaid cards often have low rates for calls in the U.S., however there are those that give high rates and per-call surcharges for calls overseas. Some cards are offered to people who call a certain countries more often, so their rates to specific countries may be lower.

In using a card with a per-call connection fee, you'll be paying that fee even if you make a short call or reach an answering machine, which would make your call a little bit more expensive. Analyze the standard length of your call when choosing between a card with a per-call connection fee and one without.

If you are making more short calls, then select a card that has no per-call surcharges. However, if you are going to make longer calls, a card with low per-minute rates and a per-call surcharge may save you money.

Analysts say that it would be best to purchase a prepaid phone card that has a toll-free 24-hour customer service number, as they have operators who will answer questions and queries, and respond to complaints. Some US states require all prepaid phone card firms doing business in their state to have this toll-free number. By having this access number, many minor complaints can be resolved by calling the number on the back of a card.

Types Of Charges A Card May Levy On Consumers

Consumers need to be aware of the possible charges and fees that phone cards may levy on them. Service fees are sometimes referred to as maintenance fees. These deductions from the card can be made every day, week or month, depending on the telecom provider. Daily service fees could range from 3 cents to 50 cents, and weekly fees may range from 12 cents to $1 and monthly fees from 50 cents to $2.

There are also per-call connection fees, and these range from 25 cents to $2.50, and are charged on every call you make. Calls within the U.S. generally offer lower per-call connection fees, while international calls have much higher ones. Some cards also charge taxes and government surcharges. Which are referred to as communications fees.

These charges usually range from 7.5% to 15%. There are also cards that levy payphone surcharges. When you use a toll-free phone card at a pay phone, most card providers deduct a "pay phone compensation fee" for each call. It is used to pay the owner of the phone for carrying toll-free calls. This charge ranges from 24 cents to 75 cents.
